A surprisingly positive exploration, which reminded me of that things I am grateful to the Fringe Festival for. It was a space in which I realised how many of the things that inspire me and have kept me working in the arts are because of performances I experienced, people I met or ideas I encountered at the Edinburgh Fringe, especially at a formative age. It's been a constant in my creative life (and progression), even as my outward attitudes to it have shifted!
