Stories in Suffrage

We had a great talk about the whole world of told and untold stories of the people involved in and impacted by Suffrage and the Suffrage movement.
We'd like to tell these stories in a way that feels inclusive and real. These women aren't stereotypes or figureheads they were real people with all the variations and foibles of anyone else.

As a jumping off point for creating a piece/pieces that tell these stories, I'm going to set up a get together for anyone who would like to get involved. Just find someone connected to the suffrage movement that interests you (doesn't have to be a woman, doesn't have to be a suffragist/suffragette) and see what you can find out about them. Email me: [email protected] and I'll organise a time for us to get together and share what we've found and see where that takes us.
