Timings Information about times of activities during D&D 13 Expand Timings at D&D events are flexible so these are a guideline only and may vary. You’re free to arrive and leave whenever you like. If you are at D&D for the first time, you’ll find it helpful to be at the Opening Circle on day one at 11am when Open Space is explained. Days 1 & 2 10:00 - 10:30 Doors open, registration and ticket sales 10:30 - 11:30 Opening Circle/ Morning Announcements 11:30 – 18:00 Breakout sessions 18:00 - 19:00 Evening News/Closing Circle Day 3 - Timings as before except concluding with Closing Circle from 2-3pm. To get the most out of D&D and the Open Space process, we encourage everyone to come to all of D&D, although nothing is compulsory. Past attendees often cite Day 3 as the highlight of their experience as it is focussed on reflection, planning action and ensuring issues get beyond the room.
Tickets Information about tickets, concessions, comps and group bookings for D&D 13 Expand Full price tickets are £20 Concession tickets are £10 Group tickets - 5-for-4 £80 (or £16 each) If the cost of a concession ticket is still a barrier to your attendance, please contact us and we can discuss pay-what-you-can, or free entry in return for volunteer duties. Tickets are available to purchase in advance by card, or on the door using cash or card. Free BAME tickets This year, New Diorama have purchased 150 tickets from us to give away to BAMER artists. To apply for one of these, email [email protected] with your full name (the name you'll be picking the ticket up under) and they will do the rest. Bursary for teens There is also a bursary for teenagers, following the generous action of participants at D&D 12, and rounded up with money from Improbable. See the main event page for details of how to apply. Day ticket We don’t offer a day ticket. In Open Space you decide the best use of your time and so we sell one ticket for the whole event that leaves you free to come and go. Press Whilst we welcome members of the press attending the event, Open Space is all about equal participation, so we do not issue free press tickets. It’s not possible to attend as an observer - if you’re in the room, you’re in the event! Comps and guest lists We welcome people from across the spectrum of arts and theatre practice and participation, and we don’t see any individual as more or less important than any other. Everyone has something to contribute and Open Space is all about equal participation for everyone present, so we don’t give away comps and we don’t have a guest list. Why we charge entry D&D events are run as non-profit, and ticket sales cover just part of the total event costs. We do get some Arts Council subsidy but we still need to charge entry at the lowest possible cost to be able to run the events at all. You can find out more about where your money goes here.
Food & Drink Information about food and drink at D&D 13 Expand Free tea, coffee and water will be available throughout the event, in the cafe area. Last year, well over 1000 disposable cups were used up. This year, to lessen our environmental impact, we ask all participants to either bring their own cup or buy one of our D&D travel coffee cups for £6.50. You can pre-order these with your ticket purchase and collect on the day, or buy one on arrival. We will not be providing disposable cups at the event! There will not be any on-site food this year as facilities don't allow it. However, there are plenty of places to purchase food nearby, including the New Diorama Theatre cafe, two supermarkets and the usual coffee outlets all within a 3 minute walk. You are also welcome to bring your own food.

It's just a short step away from New Diorama Theatre's home venue.
